Accommodation
Special rates have been secured for the 60th Annual Meeting in Beijing in two hotels close to the conference venue. Please make reservations through the PKU conference secretary to receive special conference rates by completing the reservation form online http://oec.pku.edu.cn/ise2009 or by sending back the downloaded and completed Hotel & Tour Reservation Form to oec238c@pku.edu.cn. Payment for accommodation should be made directly to the hotel cashier at the time of your check-out in cash or by credit card (Zhongguanyuan Global Village accepts RMB cash only). The hotel may require you to pay a certain deposit when you check-in.
Due to the golden-summer peak of tourists in Beijing we kindly suggest that all participants make reservations in advance.
*Note: All price offers are in Chinese currency (RMB). The numbers in Euros below are based upon the current (5 February, 2009) exchange rate (1Euro approx. 8.6RMB) and are for your reference only.

Shuttle buses between Beijing Friendship Hotel and Peking University will be arranged for participants in the morning and afternoon if the new subway line 4 is not available by then.

Beijing Friendship Hotel is located 4 km to the south of Peking University and in the central area of Zhongguancun. As the largest garden hotel in Asia, Beijing Friendship Hotel is recorded into World Architecture Annals published by Cambridge, UK for its large area and typical folk style. Its Chinese taste may be found in its garden architecture. It takes about 20 minutes by car from the hotel to the meeting venue.

Zhongguanyuan Global Village is located to the east of Peking University campus, and is within walking distance to the meeting venue (10 minutes). Clean rooms, standard service but a low price makes it a good choice for students or participants on an economic budget.
